Description of Sitaram Ayurveda Elaneer Kuzhambu:
Elaneer kuzhambu is a traditional eye salve with tender coconut water as its base. It is a cooling combination of ?Pitta? samana drugs that cleanse as well as protect the eyes from fatigue and disease. It is found mentioned in the context of ?Urdhwanga roga chikitsa? or treatment of diseases pertaining to the head, neck, eyes, ears and nose, in Sahasrayoga, an authentic compendium on Ayurvedic formulations.

Benefits of Sitaram Ayurveda Elaneer Kuzhambu:
The eye is the seat of pitta. In its balanced state it ensures proper functioning of the eye and keen vision. Even mild derangements of the pitta element manifests as heat, burning sensation and fatifue in the eyes. Elaneer kuzhambu is an intense pitta-samana combination that cools the heat and acidity of pitta in the eyes.
It cleanses the syes and keeps them unctous. It clears the tear ducts and stimulates tear formation.
Regular use of Elaneer kuzhambu is recommended for beautiful, bright eyes and keenness of vision.

Dosage of Sitaram Ayurveda Elaneer Kuzhambu:
1-2 drops in each eye. Elaneer kuzhambu is to be used straight out of the steril dropper bottle.
The drops should be gently placed in the inner corner of the eyes, eyelids closed gently and the eyeballs moved gently to facilitate uniform spreading of the salve in the eyes. The eyes should be kept closed for atleast 2-3 minutes. Once the tears cease, eyes maybe opened, and washed well with clean cool water.

HAREETHAKI(Terminalia chebula)
Popularly known as Indian walnut for its innumerable benefits or Indian hog plum in English, it is extremely valuable for its role in improving hair health. It is useful for treating scalp infections like dandruff, itching and hair fall. It also strengthens them from the roots, prevents breakage and loss of hair and bestows silky soft smooth hair. Chebulic Myrobalan is one of the three key ingredients in Triphala, a natural compound that provides overall support for digestive function and helps ensure that the digestive tract works at optimal levels. The Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia of India has documented the use of the powdered herb in intermittent fevers and chronic fevers, anemia and polyuria. Chebulic Myrobalan can also be used to treat gastrointestinal and respiratory disorders.
AMALAKI (Emblica officinalis)
Commonly known as the Indian gooseberry, it is high in vitamin C and natural antioxidants known as flavonoids and polyphenols.
