Danti Haritaki is a rare Ayurvedic medicine used in the treatment of skin diseases, fever, liver conditions etc. Danti haritaki is an herbal jam product. It is also called as Danti haritaki leham.

Benefits :
It is used in the treatment of skin diseases, nausea, indigestion, liver and spleen complaints and chronic fever. This alleviates gulma, heart ailments, piles, dropsy, distension of stomach, poison, ascites, anemia and jaundice by purging.

Ingredients :
Danti ? baliospermum montanum 1.2 kg Chitraka ? Plumbago zeylanica ? 1.2 kg Haritaki ? Terminalia chebula ? 1.2 kg These three are added to 12.288 liters of water, boiled and reduced to 1.536 liters. Filtered. To this, the following ingredients are added Jaggery ? 1.2 kg Sesame oil ? 192 ml Trivirt ? Operculina turpethum ? 24 g Heated till semisolid consistency. It is added with Ginger ? 24 g Pepper ? 24 g Cinnamon, Cardamom, Patra, nagakeshar ? 12 grams each.

Dosage :
3 ? 6 grams once or twice a day after food with milk or water or as advised by Ayurvedic doctor. Dosage for children below 5 years of age ? 1 ? 2 grams, once or twice a day, along with a teaspoon of honey or warm water / milk. Dosage for children between 5 ? 12 years of age ? 2-3 grams once or twice a day along with a teaspoon of honey or warm water / milk.
