Mamra is a type of Almond from kashmir from which oil has not been extracted and retains essential oils such as omega 6 & omega 9 which is good for health.Mamra is generally smaller in size compared to normal almonds
Mamra is on the heavier side in terms of quality,it is much pricey (thrice california ?s price),it has higher nutritional value in terms of proteins,minerals and vitamins.The oil content is higher in mamra.Mamra lacks the perfect almond shape and generally has a concavity and has a sweeter taste .This should be preferred for eating in the morning( preferably with milk ) after soaking overnight and removing the peel.
