Mormelagai is a typical South Indian accompaniment prepared using Chillies. Raw chillies are marinated in curd/buttermilk and stuffed with either salt or spices, which is then sun dried to crisp and stored in an airtight container. Similar to papads, these curd chillies/ mormelagai can be deep fried and consumed as an accompaniment with Rice Sambar, Curd Rice, Buttermilk Rice, Andhra Meals, etc. Our Uppina Menasinkai is stuffed with salt & is prepared using a traditional recipe in a hygienic kitchen to ensure authentic flavor & texture.
