Gout is a type of Arthritis that causes painful inflammation of joints. In Gout there is an elevation of uric acid levels in blood triggering the formation of crystals causing joint pains and deformation of joints. There are several risk factors for development of Gout including hyperuricemia, age, dietary factors, alcohol consumption, metabolic syndrome, hypertension, obesity, high cholesterol and chronic renal diseases. The three herbs are:
Momordica chirantia; It is popularly known as karela .It has a strong activity against Xanthine Oxidase which is enzyme responsible for uric acid formation. It contains phytochemicals like coumarins, alkaloids, tocopherols and polyphenols.It also contains high levels of unsaturated fatty acids. It contains potassium, sodium, zinc, magnesium and iron. It also contains Vit.A, Vit E, Folic acid, Cyanocobalamin and ascorbic acid. It is proven antihyperlipidemic as well as antihyperuricemic agent.
Tephrosia purpurea; It is commonly called Sharpunkha. It is popularly used in treatment of Jaundice, liver cirrhosis and splenomegaly. It is strong antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and antiviral agent. It also inhibits the Xanthine oxidase enzyme. It is rich in calcium, phosphorus, potassium and sodium. It pacifies kaph dosha and provides relief from indigestion, heartburn and acidity.
Terminalia bellirica; It is one of the ingredient of Triphala churna and commonly called Bahera. Traditionally used in treatment of bronchitis, Asthma, hepatitis, piles and diarrhea. It contains phytochemicals including glycosides, ethylgallate, ellagic acid .It has analgesic, antidiarrhoeal, woundhealing and antioxidant effect. It inhibits the formation of uric acid as well as reduces inflammation of Gout hence indispensible for management of Gout.

1 capsule thrice daily after meals with warm water or as directed by physician.
