Urban Platter Edible White Fungus :Edible White Fungus Is Also known as snow fungus or white wood ear, Naturally sweet, snow fungus is a valuable nutrient and is upheld as a powerful antioxidant. Usually, the fruiting bodies of the white fungus are white to ivory color, gum, translucent, soft and flexible. Snow fungus helps to nourish the body, lungs, and stomach, to manage a consumptive cough, helps with physical weakness after recovery from illness, shortness of brth, and fatigue.For everyday use, the white fungus can be used in congee, in soups,  can be used in a stew with vegetables, or added to clay pot dishes.
