Adel Rumex Dilution : Rumex diminishes the secretions of mucous membranes, acts on the enlarged lymphatic glands. Its action upon the skin is marked, producing an intense itching. Cough caused by an incessant tickling in the throat-pit is relieved with Rumex. A keynote is sensitiveness to cold air. The cough and skin symptoms are worse by uncovering or exposure to air. Mind and Head Irritable, disinclined to mental exertion indicates Rumex. Darting pain or sharp piercing in left side of head, bruised sensation on waking. Eyes, ear, nose Sore feeling in eyes without inflammation. Pain in eyes as from dryness with lids inflamed. Ringing and Itching deep in ears is relieved with Rumex. Nose obstructed, dry sensation even in posterior nares. Epistaxis, violent sneezing, and painful irritation of nostrils is relieved with Rumex. Mouth and Throat Ulceration of mouth and throat. Grumbling stinging toothache in right upper molars, sensation of excoriation at edges of tongue. Rawness of larynx and trachea.Throat dry, swallowing difficult, pain in left side on swallowing. Stomach and abdomen Sensation of hard substance in pit of stomach, meat cannot be digested in Rumex. Tight, suffocative, heavy ache in epigastrium Jaundice after excessive use of alcoholics. Sensation of hard substance in pit of stomach. Pain in stomach with the pain in the lungs. Chronic gastritis, aching pain in pit of stomach and shooting in the chest is relieved with Rumex. Pain in pit of stomach, aching in left chest, flatulence, eructations, pains and distension in stomach after meals. Sensation of heaviness and fullness in abdomen with rumbling is relieved with Rumex. Stool and Anus Itching of anus, with sensation as of a stick in rectum. Neck and Back Aching and sense of great fatigue in loins. Burning pain in small of back near tip of right sacroiliac joint. Aching between scapulae. Pain in back of neck, running down back is relieved with Rumex. Extremities Bruised aching and stinging pain in arms, hands, elbows, and right wrist. Feet sensitive, stinging in corns. Skin Vesicular eruption, itching when uncovered and exposed to cool air. Itching in various parts, worse on lower limbs. Urticaria, worse in open air. Generalities Dry, spasmodic cough, like beginning of whooping-cough, cough provoked by change from cold to warm or warm to cold. Burning, shooting pain in right chest. Sharp pain in left side of heart.Sharp cutting pain in left breast at noon lasting an hour. Worse from the least cold air; so that all cough ceases by covering up all the body and head with the bedclothes. Restless in evening. Pains travel from one place to other.
